Mike J Daly is a versatile musician from South Florida with a distinctive voice and an ability to cover a wide catalog of music from the 1950s to present. His repertoire includes genres like classic rock, indie, folk, country, pop, and more. Drawing inspiration from iconic artists such as Dion DiMucci, Paul McCartney, Jeff Mangum (Neutral Milk Hotel), and Adam Levine (Maroon 5), Daly is known for infusing his performances with a rich blend of styles and influences.
Daly began his musical journey at the age of 7. With a natural ear for sound, he began entertaining audiences at retirement homes and local bars in Fort Lauderdale even before he could drive. He was a favorite at local venues like Q-bar, Bahia Cabana, and Ann’s Florist and Coffee Bar. Now Daly enjoys being a regular entertainer at 15th Street Fisheries, The Bite Eatery, and YOT bar and grill. In addition to performances at Quarterdeck, Park and Ocean, Islamorada Fish Company, The Plunge, and Mom’s Kitchen.
You might even catch him playing at Pepi’s Pub in Vail, CO, during the winter/summer seasons. Daly also has experience performing at private events such as weddings, birthdays, and graduations. Some of his career highlights include following James Taylor at the Broward Performing Arts reception and playing at Scuba4Good Music Fest for four consecutive years. He is also proud of his shows at the St. Coleman Italian Festival, Autonation Formula 1 brunch reception at the Ritz Carlton, Taste of The Beach in Lauderdale by The Sea, and Taxi Tunes on the water taxi.
